5/18 4:00 AM – Well, after a relatively cool first half of May, that seems to be flipping for the latter half as a warming summerlike trend is on the way, but also a fairly active pattern. Today starts with increasing clouds from south-north, which will eventually be followed by scattered and mostly light rain showers during the afternoon and mostly into the evening. Winds stay mostly light and SE, keeping lakeside areas near 65, but up to 71 inland. Tonight sees on and off rain and possibly a few rumbles of thunder, but no appreciable storms as mild temps hold in the 50s all night. Wednesday looks rainy at times, scattered morning showers for most. Then turning to more isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon, but nothing looking severe. Warmer yet as we push the upper 70s. From there, more heat and humidity to end the week with temps punching near the 80s as humidity rises! With this comes more chances for rain and a few storms. [Alex Bukvich - Innovative Weather]
